Cosy Cabin has been newly renovated with lots of great mod cons to make your holiday more comfortable.
It is a spacious 39 sqm property which is roomy, with a private good sized garden - approx 200 sqm. It is a little secluded as there are established bushes. This is ideal as you will spend a lot of time on the deck!
There are 2 good sized bedrooms, a fully equipped dining & kitchen area, a lounge area, a bathroom with shower, a separate toilet, a terrace, a grass garden with outdoor BBQ, and private parking spaces for 2 cars.

Spacious private and peaceful garden with undercover decking, comfortable chairs for lounging, a BBQ, table & chairs to enjoy breakfast or evening meals and a sofa to watch the sunset.
Beach
A stone's throw away from the cabin you will find the sandy beach which has safe zones for different swimmers and a life guard during peak summer days. Gorgeous views with a children play area, bar & restaurant and also the Ferry pick up point.
Water Sports
Lake Annecy is a mecca for all sport enthusiasts. Just beside the beach you will find the Club Nautique de Doussard where you can hire paddle boats, SUP, boats, sailboats, book wake surfing outings and also arrange for lessons.

On the superb shores of stunning Lake Annecy, our Cosy Cabin is situated on an immaculately clean & well equipped campsite La Nubliere with all the facilities you would need to make your holiday an enjoyable experience. The campsite is safe for children with lot of activities - a playground, bouncy castles, keep fit area, table tennis & summer kid’s club with an animation program in the peak summer holidays and a mini disco. There is also new spa & a water park.
The sandy beach is approx 250 metres from the cabin with direct access where you can find a children’s park, a volleyball court, restaurant/bar, picnic tables and a grassy area. In July & August there is a lifeguard on duty and several swimming areas are roped off by buoys with a jetty for the older ones to practices their diving technique.
In front of the beach area is also the Ferry boat pick up point that takes you to Annecy.
Also conveniently located beside the beach is the port where you can hire pedalos, sailing or motor boats, paddle boards ...etc. You can also take wake boarding, surfing or sailing lessons.
The location is idyllic as it is at the quieter end of the lake away from the bustling crowds that can sometimes be found in Annecy itself. There is small supermarket Vival on site and there are several restaurants within walking distance - Le Plage at the beach, the pub Auberge du Boucanier, , several pizza take aways nearby such as Bob's and one of our favourites on the water front Chez Ma Cousine.
It is close to the small village of Doussard and in July/Aug there is a free navette to/from the campsite. There you will find a few more restaurants, summer markets on Fridays, post office, a bakery, the tabac, cafes & a small but very well stocked supermarket. The butcher inside is independent & we highly recommend you give it a try! The nearest larger supermarkets such as Carrefour, Lidl & Intermarche are approx 7 km away in Faverges.
The area is a real mecca for sport enthusiasts with a cycle track circling the majority of the lake (shortly to be the whole of the lake). The track is approx 200 metres from the campsite. There is literally something for everyone - parapenting is huge here, lots of hiking trails, swimming, sailing, kayaking, waking boarding/surfing, SUP, pedalos - just name a few! If that is not your thing and you prefer to chill out by the lake with a book, then do not despair as this is the perfect place to relax too! It is also next door to a nature reserve with a lovely track to walk along.

Fully Equipped Kitchen
We understand the convenience of a fully fitted kitchen when you are away from home and we have installed all the mod cons you would need to ensure you can still enjoy cooking. There is a tall fridge with a freezer - important for ice cubes and ice cream! A full sized oven, a dishwasher, a microwave & a 2 ring hob.
Coffee Corner
But first coffee........... or tea :) This little corner has a kettle, a Senseo coffee machine and a toaster. There is also a filter coffee maker if you prefer in the kitchen cupboard.
Power Shower!
It is so nice to have a spacious new bathroom with a power shower to enjoy when you are away from home. The toilet is separate too so no need to hurry! There is also a washing machine.

Linen Hire:
Duvets & Pillows are provided. 3 x single duvets and 1 x double. Each bed has 2 pillows
Bed Sheets, Pillow Cases and Bath Towels and towels can be hired directly from reception if you require but most people are self drive and therefore bring their own bedding from home.
Duvet Covers & Beach Towels - please note that these are not provided, nor available to rent from reception, therefore you will need to bring your own.
Bed Linen set is 10 Euros per person Towel set is 6.50 Euros per person.
WIFI: 2 Euros per night or 10 Euros per week. Payable at Reception
Please note that the WIFI is a weak signal and not reliable from inside the cabin.
Payable at Reception: Taxe de Sejour: 0.55 cents per night for all guests +18yrs old.
Security Deposits: 150 Euros
Returned once cabin is checked for breakages and cleanliness. A loss of a barrier pass or key = 10 Euros
Baby Equipment: Available at reception - pre booking only for July/August.
The Campsite
The cabin is situated on a campsite with great facilities, is kept very clean and has security during peak weeks. Please understand that there are rules regarding noise, speed limits, the number of guests, open fires, check in times, check out, the barrier... etc that are to be followed and respected. Thank you
